About

My research focus has been two-fold Disaster Preparedness and Animal Therapy. I conducted a randomized controlled pilot study on equine therapy with significant improvements for adults and older adults with arthritis, a systematic review, and a concept analysis which are published. My interdisciplinary approach to research was refocused with the pandemic and I now cunduct research on disaster preparedness. I have 25 years of research experience that is now focusing on this much needed area inquiry.
