Marti Anselmo is a clinical instructor for the MSN and DNP programs at UMKC. She joined UMKC as an adjunct faculty in 2007 and joined her colleagues full-time in 2011. She is the mentoring faculty for the adult/geriatric nurse practitioner students. She has provided nursing care for over 25 years in a variety of settings to the adult/geriatric patient population with acute and chronic health concerns. She has a passion for teaching and she continues to practice as a nurse practitioner at in a suburban cardiology practice in both the acute in-patient and office setting. She is also currently DNP student with a focus in leadership.
