SoNHS Dean and Students Participate in American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Meeting in DC

On March 21, as part of the AACN Spring Annual Meeting in Washington DC, Ann Cary, Dean at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Nursing and Health Studies, along with students from University of Missouri-Columbia and UMKC participated in advocacy visits with the Missouri delegation. During the visits, Dean Cary and the students discussed the importance of funding for the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), programs at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA).
