Nancy Willis-Smith is the Interim MSN and Certificate Program director and the UMKC Family Nurse Practitioner Track Coordinator. She has been a clinical instructor in the UMKC family nurse practitioner program since 2003. Dr. Willis-Smith is certified as both a family nurse practitioner and a women’s health nurse practitioner and has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 1994. She completed her BSN at Pittsburg State University in 1987, her MS(N) in Women’s Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1994, her Family Nurse Practitioner requirements in 1998, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2011 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She currently practices in family medicine for Ozarks Community Hospital's clinics.
