Catheranne Sesher, BSN, RN, CCRN

Biography

Catheranne Sesher is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Studies, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors in 2021 after completing the accelerated BSN program.

Catheranne is a CCRN-certified critical care nurse at The University of Kansas Health System, where she has spent the past five years practicing in a hematology/oncology-specialized medical ICU. In addition to her clinical practice, she is actively involved in nursing leadership, shared governance, evidence-based practice, and research. She has held multiple leadership roles throughout her career and currently serves as Chair of the Critical Care Practice Council. She also works as a Nurse Research Intern at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Catheranne enjoys precepting and mentoring nurses and students, helping them develop confidence, critical thinking, and independence in their practice. Outside of nursing, she enjoys photography, volunteers with local animal welfare organizations, and remains active in the roller derby community through skating, officiating, and volunteering.
