Jacob is a dual MSN/MBA candidate, CCRN-certified critical care nurse, and emerging healthcare leader passionate about advancing equitable, sustainable, and people-centered care. Currently serving as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse at NKC Health, he brings frontline clinical insight to the boardroom—whether leading shared governance initiatives, shaping nurse retention strategies, or advising on public health policy.
Jacob's career lives at the intersection of patient care, operational excellence, and systems-level change. He’s held leadership roles across professional organizations such as the Missouri Nurses Association (engaged member & District Nurse Liaison), Project C.U.R.E. Young Professionals Board, and the American College of Healthcare Executives Missouri Student Committee. He’s also proud to mentor novice nurses, drive community health initiatives, and serve as an alumni board president for UMKC’s School of Nursing & Health Studies.
