Jana Rudigier, RN, MSN
Clinical Assistant Professor
Jana Rudiger’s MSN is in Adult Health and she has practiced in a variety of settings including emergency care, wound and hyperbaric medicine, occupational and community health. She has a strong background in developing community based partnerships. Jana was inducted in Sigma Theta Tau, Lambda Pi Chapter, in 1999. She received her MSN from UMKC and is pursuing a DNP at UMKC. Jana joined the faculty in 2007 and has been teaching Community/Public Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Clinical Internship. She is a CPR Instructor, a trainer for SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) and recently a Collaborator on the HRSA grant Building a Culture of Health and Wellness: Enriching BSN Students’ Community/Pulbic Health Clinical Experiences. She is a 2017 graduate of the University of Missouri Faculty Scholars program. Jana enjoys reading, running, biking and the beach.
