Jan Wrolstad, M.Div., is an Associate Program Director within the Collaborative for Excellence in Behavioral Health Research and Practice at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s School of Nursing and Health Studies. Within The Collaborative, Wrolstad serves as Associate Director of Mid-America Addiction Technology Transfer Center, a grant-funded program which provides workforce development for the behavioral health field. Wrolstad assists in grant and curriculum writing, drafts federal reports, and is one of the organization’s trainers, presenting at state, regional and national conferences and conducting trainings throughout the Midwest. Wrolstad has worked in the field of substance use disorders education and at UMKC for more than 18 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Divinity from Midwest Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO, and a Bachelor’s degree in English education from Luther College in Decorah, IA.
