The Pharmacology for Women's Health online series is designed for advanced practice nurses. It builds on current knowledge of drug classification, actions, interactions and adverse drug reactions. Participants can learn at their own pace using narrated slides and readings from Pharmacology for Women's Health by Tekoa King and Mary Brucker.

Within the next two years, all interstate CMV drivers will be required to undergo a physical examination performed by a certified medical examiner listed in the National Registry. OHS-Compcare and University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in partnership with UMKC School of Nursing & Health Studies would like to help prepare you for the certification test as well as apply the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s physical qualification standards to your patients.

This Medical Examiner training course conforms to FMCSA's training curriculum modules and topics on regulations and guidelines for conducting CMV driver medical examinations. FMCSA regulations and guidelines are reviewed regularly, and the training is updated as required. This course was last updated on November 3, 2012.

A proctored clinical experience-focused training on preparing sexual assault nurse examiners for clinical work. This offering will prepare the forensic nurse examiner to complete a sexual assault medical forensic exam. The attendee will be completing hands-on, proctored examinations with multiple diverse standardized patients in a clinical exam setting.

This learning activity is designed to assist participants with demonstrating confidence, comfort and competence in performance of a comprehensive evaluation of a client (including timely and accurate evidence collection and documentation) who has experienced sexual assault.
